The CozyGanoosh 2-in-1 Seasonal Footmuff was redesigned to give families a warmth solution that better adapts to varying climates. Feedback from previous versions revealed that the original CozyGanoosh was often too warm for milder weather, creating an opportunity to rethink how insulation and versatility could work together in a single product.
Seasonal Versatility
To address changing weather conditions, the updated design introduces a zip-out dual liner system across both the front and back panels. The two-layer approach includes a plush liner rated to -5°F for colder conditions and a soft knit liner comfortable up to 30°F.
This system allows parents to quickly adjust the level of warmth without needing multiple accessories, extending the usability of the footmuff throughout more of the year.
Secure Liner Integration
A key focus during this project was ensuring the liners stay properly aligned during everyday use. The front and back liners fully zip into the outer shell with the front liner tucking into fabric overlay to close the gap between the layers.
Hook-and-loop anchoring near the harness openings keeps the back liner positioned correctly, while additional attachment points on the hood connect the liner cleanly to the outer body. Combined with a windproof, water-repellent, machine-washable shell, the updated CozyGanoosh provides improved usability while maintaining a clean and cohesive design.
